Our client is a family owned Property Investment Group of companies based in Central London. 

They are looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join their team and report to the Finance Director / HoF.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly and accurately recorded, filed and reported;
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts;
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure compliance with all operating procedures and controls;
  • Assume responsibility for all debt Facility compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Report to the Head of Finance with timely and accurate financial information;
  • Assist the Head of Finance in preparing presentation reports to Management Board;
  • Assist the Head of Finance with strategy, budgeting, treasury and re-financing as appropriate.
  • Prepare Consolidated Accounts at Group and sub-group level;
  • Liaise with the Tax Advisors with the preparation of tax computations at Group and subsidiary level including quarterly Payment on Account;
  • Co-ordinate with Auditors to ensure an effective audit, complying with all jurisdictional legislation;
  • Assist as necessary with the commercial negotiation, execution, oversight and reporting of FO third party activities, including JV’s and Platform investments;
  • Co-ordinate with FO 3rd party accountants re. VAT returns, accounts and corporation tax;
  • Assist FO Director with personal tax return preparation and liaising with Tax Advisor;
  • Preparation and review of pension trust and charity accounts;
  • Assistance with ad hoc FO projects

  • ACCA/ACA Accountant with at least 1 years’ post qualification experience ideally from a medium sized professional firm at Manager level. Your audit and accounting expertise will be of real estate industry, including joint venture aspect;
  • You must possess a good working knowledge of corporate and personal taxations;
  • Methodical, pro-active approach, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised;
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise a variety of conflicting deadlines;
  • Outstanding verbal and written interpersonal skills;
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • You will have excellent computer software skills with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential. Experience with Propman business operation software would be advantageous.
