A recently relocated manufacturing company, based in Wolverhampton, is looking for a new Finance Logistics Assistant to join their team. The company is currently working remotely but it is envisaged that the role will be split between on site and remote working when possible.

This is a very hands on role, which requires a candidate with a can do attitude and a strong background in accountancy, but who is keen to have the additonal challenge of working in logistics too.


Accounts duties:

  • Sales Ledger - raising proformas and Invoices
  • Credit Control 
  • Purchase ledger
  • Arranging BACS payments to suppliers
  • Bank reconciliations
Logistics duties:

  • Ordering materials from suppliers
  • Organising the transport and delivery of materials to the factory
  • Arranging collection of the product from the factory and on to the client site


  • A bookkeeping/accountancy qualification would be an advantage ( AAT or Equivalent)
  • Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
  • Previous logistic experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of the accounting software Opera would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
  • SAGE experience would be an advantage as the intention is to switch over to this software
  • Proficient with MS Office - Excel and word is essential
  • Good communicator
  • Proactive and self motivated
