National Charity with 3000 members is looking for a part time FD / FC to support
Monthly/Quarterly accounts consolidation and review
- Preparation, completion and review of month end accounts as prepared by the Finance Officer
- Provide timely, accurate financial analysis and management information to monitor performance and support decision making for the CEO
- Complete monthly variance analysis for actual results against budget and forecast, explaining key variances
- Prepare the overall budget and quarterly P&L forecasts with explanations for key movements
- Prepare and explain monthly cashflow forecasts
- Approval and review of balance sheet at month end
- Reconciliation of investment balances
- Liaison with the bank
Statutory accounts
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Responsible for external audit including liaison with auditors and providing information where appropriate
- Ensure all Companies House and Charity Commission records are up to date
Tax/Other
- VAT return
- Corporation Tax preparation and submission
- Review of payroll as prepared by other providers
- Liaison with external pension provider and required pensions reporting
One off
- Initial review of processes and procedures as well as roles and responsibilities
- Initial review of VAT following merger of NI and NI Ents
- Finalisation of NI Ents dissolution
