An established multi office Accountancy practice is looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to join the team in their Lincoln office. This role offers a variety of work experience undertaken both at the practice offices and at clients premises. The ideal candidate will join a supportive team and have ample opportunity for career progression within the role. The role will require the preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships to draft stage, ready for review
Preparation of draft accounts suitable for client meeting with Manager and/or Director
Assist on audit assignments.
Corporate and personal tax computations for review by Manager or Director
To develop good working relationships with clients to advise where applicable and necessary.
Assistance may be required in the bookkeeping department.
Minimum AAT qualified / ACCA Studier or has suitable experience.
Strong accounting system knowledge and Excel skills
Good working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant taxation matters
Experience of working on audit assignments desirable.
Ability to prepare year end accounts for companies, sole-traders, and partnerships to draft stage
A positive, enthusiastic team player
The ability to liaise with the other departments in the practice such as payroll and bookkeeping
Good organisational skills, capable of producing high quality work
