An established multi office Accountancy practice is looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to join the team in their Lincoln office. This role offers a variety of work experience undertaken both at the practice offices and at clients premises. The ideal candidate will join a supportive team and have ample opportunity for career progression within the role.   • The role will require the preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships to draft stage, ready for review
  • Preparation of draft accounts suitable for client meeting with Manager and/or Director
  • Assist on audit assignments.
  • Corporate and personal tax computations for review by Manager or Director
  • To develop good working relationships with clients to advise where applicable and necessary.
  • Assistance may be required in the bookkeeping department.

  • Minimum AAT qualified / ACCA Studier or has suitable experience.
  • Strong accounting system knowledge and Excel skills
  • Good working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant taxation matters
  • Experience of working on audit assignments desirable.
  • Ability to prepare year end accounts for companies, sole-traders, and partnerships to draft stage
  • A positive, enthusiastic team player
  • The ability to liaise with the other departments in the practice such as payroll and bookkeeping
  • Good organisational skills, capable of producing high quality work
