Business Description:

Our client is a medium-sized offshore law firm with main office in the Caribbean and additional representative offices in London and Asia.

 
The firm has associated trust, corporate and fiduciary services businesses.  
 
They are looking to hire an experienced Corporate Administrator and/or Trust Administrator in the London office with experience of offshore trust and corporate administration.
Role Description:

You will be working within a small team in the London office, alongside lawyers. The corporate administration role will include:

  • Coordinating and administering the firm's client company portfolio, including the formation of companies, partnerships, funds and other applicable entities, involving daily communications with clients and their service providers.
  • Collaborating with clients and other professionals within the group in order to provide efficient corporate services.
  • Completing regular account and client reviews, ensuring that all internal compliance and accurate documentation requirements are complied with.
  • Managing and completing relevant beneficial ownership reporting and filing requirements. 
  • Managing Work-in-Progress and receivables on a monthly basis.
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes including relevant Accounting Standards, Client Money Regulations and compliance.
  • Preparation, coordination and development of firm templates and precedents.
Experience &
Skills Required:
  • Experience in Trust Administration / Corporate Administration (preferably recent offshore experience)
  • Professional Attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • A sound knowledge of Cayman Islands and/or BVI company regulations, corporate governance requirements and best practice would be an advantage
  • Experience of the online Cayman Islands and/or BVI Registry systems would be an advantage
