Our client is a leading residential building company based in London that specialise in high-end refurbishment.

They are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to replace the current Accounts & Office Manager during her maternity leave and facilitate the efficient running of the office as well as looking after the accounts. They aim to promote an enthusiastic and driven team culture which also fosters personal development. They are looking for a like-minded individual, who takes pride in their job, to join their team. This position will not be micro-managed so it is important that the candidate is self-confident and driven in their approach to work.

12 months fixed term contract – Maternity Cover

  • Bookkeeping/Accounts
  • Day to day Office Management
  • Handling phone calls and enquiries
  • Administration and filing
  • Cashflow management and suppliers payment on a weekly basis
  • Processing suppliers’ invoices
  • Raising clients’ invoices and credit control
  • Preparing accounting documents for monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Assisting the accountant for the year end
  • Preparing monthly CIS reports and VAT returns
  • Ad hoc support to Directors and Project Managers.

  • A minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience or accounting degree
  • A minimum of 3 years office administration experience
  • Excellent organisation skills and high attention to details
  • Multi task and excellent time management
  • Good people management skills
  • Knowledge of Xero preferred
  • Tertiary Education preferred but not essential.
