Our Client, based near Burton on Trent , is looking for a bookkeeper/ Accounts assistant to join their team and report to the Managing Director. This is a part time, self employed role for 2 days per week, using SAGE line 50 software.
Sales invoicing and credit control
Nominal Ledgers, Management Accounts and Information (Debtors and Creditors, stock lists, analysis of turnover)
Processing Invoices
Client and General Bank and cash processing and reconciliations
Month end work
Year end work up to Trial balance
VAT submissions
Providing reports to the MD
Corporation tax calculations
Assist with Budget preparations
Preparation of Payroll for approx 6 employees and some subcontractors
Qualified Bookkeeper preferable – will consider QBE
Good accounting software knowledge and experience - Sage Line 50
Experienced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products.
Proactive and self-motivated with excellent system skills
