Our client, a members club in Central London, is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Financial Controller to join its highly professional team.

As the Financial Controller, you will report to the Club Secretary and work closely with the General and Finance Committee. You will be responsible for overseeing the work of the Accounts Assistant and liaising with the HR Administrator and Operations Manager on regular basis.


Main responsibilities will include:

  • Producing daily and weekly financial reports
  • Generating month-end and quarterly reports and attending the Finance Committee meetings
  • Formulating and monitoring the annual budget and forecast
  • Preparing the audit pack and liaising with the Auditors
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, banking and payroll transactions
  • Dealing with any Member enquiries regarding their Club Account, Subscriptions and bills
  • Completing statistical returns to ALC, HMRC, etc

  • Professional in all respects

Desired experience:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, within a Members' Club or luxury hospitality
  • Preferably ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
  • SAGE Accounting & Payroll Systems proficiency
  • Knowledge of Millenia system would be advantageous
