Our client are looking for an Accounts Assistant with a minimum of 1-year experience working as an Accounts Assistant. Ongoing job training will be given.
The role is based at their offices in Enfield.
Hours: 09:30 – 18:30 Monday to Friday - please note that the hours are not negotiable for this role
Entering and coding financial transactions appropriately
Processing invoices
Reconciling invoices received
Tracking payments
Tracking expenses
Validating invoices against items or services received
Checking all financial transactions for accuracy
Keying data into Sage
Reconciling accounts
Maintaining spreadsheets
Computer literate with an aptitude for numbers
Have experience in Sage 200 (essential)
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential)
Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy procedures
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contacts
Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
Hold or be studying towards a relevant accountancy qualification
