Our Buckinghamshire based client is looking for a Finance Manager /HoF (part time).

This is the number one finance role in the company and is required on either a contract to perm basis or perm basis. The role is part-time and the preference is for the role to be based in the office although they will consider some home working.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of budget/forecast reporting.
• Multi Currency (Euro / £)
• Production and ownership of management accounts
• Preparation, checking, and maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations and other accounts
• Prep and submission of VAT returns
• Working with external auditors
• Management of production of annual statutory accounts in conjunction with auditors
• General financial control of the business e.g. cash flow forecasting & debtor management
• General support where required in financial and commercial decision making
• Implement any recommendations promptly and appropriately
  
• Ensure sound understanding of financial position by other members of management team

Key Tasks

• Provide accurate financial and managerial information for the internal management of the business and external reporting requirements
• Ensure the business is adopting sound, consistent and appropriate financial controls; including adherence to all statutory requirements (e.g. taxation)

• Accountancy qualifications preferred but will also consider QBE / part qual
• Commercial and business awareness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• An analytical approach to work with high numeracy and technical skills.
• Problem-solving skills and initiative
• Experience of working in a Group / Subsidiary structure would be desirable
