Our client (Automotive industry) require a qualified Finance Director to join their office in Chelmsford. 

They are £120m+ turnover business and looking for a permanent FD.

Salary: Negotiable + Company Car.

You must have strong automotive industry experience.

Working alongside the company directors, the finance director will be responsible for company finances.

• form a close working relationship with the directors, other senior executives and non-executives;
• ensure that the company’s financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
• responsible for the company’s cash management policies;
• ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met;
• monitor cash flow, accounts and other financial transactions;
• to manage and oversee the preparation of all statutory returns and the management of company pension scheme

• Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification;
• Strong automotive industry experience essential;
• Management experience;
• Exceptional communications skills at all levels;
• Strong it skills;
• Ability to handle high levels of pressure;
• High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
