Our client is a proactive and growing small accountancy firm with offices in Liverpool. They are passionate about high quality service and helping their clients to get the best out of their businesses. The practice is looking for a part time person (2-3 days per week), they can be flexible with how the days/hours are worked. The right candidate will have previous practice experience and plenty of knowledge about completing company accounts and corporation tax etc.

This role will focus on delivering high quality year end accounts and tax returns on-time and on-budget to a clint base that covers a wide range of companies and sole traders.

• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Preparation and review of year end and management accounts to be signed off by managing partner.
• Preparation of draft financial accounts 
• Preparation of tax returns, personal tax and corporation tax
  
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Submissions to HMRC and CO's House
• Training and supervising team members
• Scheduling and managing workflow
  

• Part Qualified/Qualified accountant but will also consider QBE
• Will have a minimum of five years experience in an accountancy practice environment
• The successful candidate will be able to autonomously prepare financial accounts of all types of entities to a final draft, with all queries resolved
  
• The successful candidate will be able to prepare draft taxation computations of all types of entities to a final draft, with all queries resolved
  
• IT literate - good knowledge of accountancy practice software, Word and Excel
  
• Knowledge of Absolute Accounts software is an advantage
  
• Good knowledge and use of business software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.
  
• Good communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  
• Able to meet strict deadlines; ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
