Our client are a charity based in London - they require an Interim FD to join their team ASAP on a part time basis (2-3 days per week) until the end of the year (perhaps into 2021).

The charity is involved with assisting children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The role will be remote based will report to the COO / CEO of the Charity.

The key responsibilities for the temporary assignment will be:

• to do monthly management accounts & balance sheet reconciliation (liaising with our outsourced accountants as necessary)
• to update the monthly cashflow forecast (and actuals) liaising with our Partnerships Director
• to provide oversight and support to a Finance Assistant on the transaction logging

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experienced Interim FD required
• Experience of non-profit sector desirable but not essential
• Experience of working with an outsourced finance function
• Working with a range of budget holders across departments
• An ability to make financial discussions, decision making and documentation
• An ability to hit the ground running working remotely
• Strong financial and commercial awareness, with a track record of budgeting and financial management in an organisation with a turnover of £1m+
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
