Based in Hertfordshire, our innovative equity funded client is recruiting a CFO & Head of Operations on a 6-9-month FTC to cover maternity leave starting in Q1 2021.

They are looking for an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, experienced finance and operations leader to report into the CEO and look after the finance, HR, production, and customer services teams across their two sites in Spain and the UK (Around 30 people in total).


Duties will include:

  • Responsibility for all areas of financial & management accounting
  • Business partnering with other department heads and implementation of plans
  • Preparation and assistance with audit
  • Budget & cashflow management
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards
  • Supply chain management, purchasing, and supplier relationship responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in board meetings


The successful candidate will be someone who has done this kind of role before; who can hit the ground running, is comfortable implementing ideas and strategies proposed by the CEO, and cope with managing multiple departments. You will need to have an excellent understanding of statutory and management accounts, and be able to manage critical supplier relationships.
