A leading Accountancy Firm is looking for an Interim Audit Senior for their Corporate Audit Division in the North East. The Firm work with a number of sectors delivering support, advice and solutions on all financial aspects to ensure their clients' businesses thrive across the UK.

The role will initially be on an interim basis for up to 6 months to assist them with a very busy period of work.

You will be responsible for running audits, working directly with clients. Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of the audits. You will identify risk matters and have active engagement with client staff in order to understand their business and ensure efficient execution of the audit. Monitor audit budgets, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, supervise and coach junior team members.

The Firm is looking for either qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS professional with experience of supervising staff, working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, with some exposure to anti-money laundering.
