Our client is an independent private school in SW London / Surrey borders. The school provides an excellent and rounded education for pupils aged 11-18.

The school now seeks a qualified accountant to manage the accounting and management reporting (transaction reporting, ledgers, monthly management accounts) as well as the FP&A (budgets, forecasts, cash flows and scenario modelling).

This role is permanent and likely to be full time, although there is potential flexibility for less than full time and working from home.

• The role reports to the School Bursar and manages an Assistant Accountant.

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Affinity with the world and business of schools and education
• Prior experience in SME (businesses sub £15m revenue)
• Strong skills in Excel and other MS requirements
• Proven experience of cost management and control
