Mechanical Engineering up to £25000 , depending on experience
Our client is a family run business based in Bristol. They require an experienced bookkeeper/accounts assistant to support the Finance Manager. This position is part-time (a minimum of 30 hours per week and flexible). Sage experience is essential.
Purchase Ledger - Deal with all invoices, scan into database and record in SAGE. Organise payment runs and deal with queries.
Sales Ledger - Send monthly statements to customers, run monthly reports and chase late payments
Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Prepare and post monthly journals as necessary
Month end reconciliations
AAT qualified (or equivalent),but QBE will be considered
Sage experience is essential
Minimum of 5 years all round accounting experience
Good knowledge of word and Excel
Ability to work independently
