Our client is a family run business based in Bristol. They require an experienced bookkeeper/accounts assistant to support the Finance Manager. This position is part-time (a minimum of 30 hours per week and flexible). Sage experience is essential. 



  • Bank reconciliations
  • Purchase Ledger - Deal with all invoices, scan into database and record in SAGE. Organise payment runs and deal with queries.
  • Sales Ledger - Send monthly statements to customers, run monthly reports and chase late payments
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns
  • Prepare and post monthly journals as necessary
  • Month end reconciliations



  • AAT qualified (or equivalent),but QBE will be considered
  • Sage experience is essential
  • Minimum of 5 years all round accounting experience
  • Good knowledge of word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently
