Credit Controller - London but remote working

In response to a pipeline of new work nationally , our client is seeking to recruit a Temporary Credit Controller on a part time basis ( 2.5 days a week or 5 half days per week). The ideal candidate will come from a Property/Real Estate company and have a proven track record of Credit Control. The role is initially for a minimum of six months and will be 100% remote.

  • Manage client ledgers following up debtor balances
  • Evaluate and consider where improvements can be made to current processes for commercial property debtors
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Liaise with Property and Finance Managers based in Liverpool and London
  • Liaise with clients, including making recommendations on recovery actions
  • Liaise with Enforcement Agents and Solicitors
  • Create solutions for individual situations such as payment plans
  • Identify any discrepancies with invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Assist with all aspects of payment allocation
  • Maintain accurate records ensuring payment history and contact data is up to date
  • Manage the collection of statistics so that performance can be monitored
  • Reporting to Line Manager in London

  • Previous experience of credit control and debt reduction within a professional services environment
  • Good communication skills with excellent telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • IT literate and proficient in Office 365: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the Property Management sector is desirable
