In response to a pipeline of new work nationally , our client is seeking to recruit a Temporary Credit Controller on a part time basis ( 2.5 days a week or 5 half days per week). The ideal candidate will come from a Property/Real Estate company and have a proven track record of Credit Control. The role is initially for a minimum of six months and will be 100% remote.
Manage client ledgers following up debtor balances
Evaluate and consider where improvements can be made to current processes for commercial property debtors
Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
Liaise with Property and Finance Managers based in Liverpool and London
Liaise with clients, including making recommendations on recovery actions
Liaise with Enforcement Agents and Solicitors
Create solutions for individual situations such as payment plans
Identify any discrepancies with invoices
Statement reconciliations
Assist with all aspects of payment allocation
Maintain accurate records ensuring payment history and contact data is up to date
Manage the collection of statistics so that performance can be monitored
Reporting to Line Manager in London
Previous experience of credit control and debt reduction within a professional services environment
Good communication skills with excellent telephone manner
Strong attention to detail
IT literate and proficient in Office 365: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Knowledge of the Property Management sector is desirable
