An exciting, fast-paced business, is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Group Finance Director Designate to provide expert knowledge, management and support to the Finance Team during their next phase of growth.

We are looking for an exceptionally commercial individual who will be a driving force for the business. This is NOT a role for an average accountant – the right candidate will be an enthusiastic, down-to-earth and dedicated individual, who is capable of driving real change and making key decisions within a finance function.

The main purpose of the role will be to direct and support all finance operations and functions, with specific regards to ensuring the team runs efficiently and effectively.

• Close support for MD, Directors and other senior management
• Provide leadership to the FC and other members of the finance team
• Contribute to the development of company strategy across the business, providing financial analysis and guidance
• Overall responsibility for the finance function
• Enhance current financial processes & ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met
• Staff mentoring & development
• Cashflow & budgeting responsibilities
• Provide support for commercial negotiations
• Provide high quality analysis to assist in decision making
• Maximise income generating opportunities.

• An experienced FD, with proven experience delivering sustained business growth
• Qualified Accountant, with flair!
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is desirable
• Commercially-aware and strong technical knowledge
• A natural leader
• Able to contribute at strategic and operational levels
