A busy charity, based in Stratford upon Avon, is looking for a Finance manager to run their day to day finances. This will involve providing support to the Head of Finance and Operations, and having responsibility for the completion of various financial tasks. The right candidate will be qualified ( AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA), will ideally have charity experience and be able to assist in the provision of effective management of the charities finances including aspects of budget monitoring, procurement, income receipt, invoicing, payroll, Gift Aid and VAT processing

This is an interim to perm role , with an immediate start.



  • Processing purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger and credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Nominal reconciliations
  • Monthly management accounts and reporting
  • Payroll
  • Processing petty cash
  • VAT returns
  • Responding to financial queries and a variety of other financial tasks.


  • Qualified Finance professional: Minimum AAT level 4 
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of finance and accounting procedures
  • Experience of SAGE 50 or other similar financial software
  • Experience of management accounts preparation 
  • Experience of SAGE Payroll
  • Experience of VAT & partial exemption processing
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-developed IT skills, e.g. Microsoft Office – Word, Excel
  • Good time management skills, ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
