About the Role: Working alongside the CFO, the Finance Director will be part of the senior management team, advising on the best path of growth for the business and have operational control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company
Role Purpose: To protect the vital assets of the company, ensure compliance with financial regulations, provide sound financial management, and help communicate value and risk issues to investors and internal boards. The role holder will run an effective and efficient finance operation, helping to shape overall strategy and direction, instilling a financial approach and mind set throughout the organization to help the business succeed.

Key Activities
Direct and control finance team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget , provide insight to performance and monthly management information
Ensure financial and statutory regulations complied with.
Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and work with senior teams to grow the businesses formulating strategies and plans.
Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
Support the CFO in managing relationships with and arrangements with corporate partners.
Contribute to the company risk management strategy.

Qualifications
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
Experience
Extensive senior level accountancy experience.
Experience in sector.
Experience working with private equity investment houses.
Exceptional staff management background
Knowledge
Knowledge of strategic tax plans and tax liabilities.
Corporate governance frameworks.
Approved / unapproved share schemes.
