The company employs over 100 staff and are leaders in their Field.  This role will be working alongside all senior manageement, supporting the business in achieving good finance practices.

• Taking day-to-day responsibility for the up-keep of the accounts, in SAGE
• Ensuring the day-to-day entries are recorded and entered correctly for both purchases and sales. 
• Overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations. 
• Working alongside the management team, to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as adhoc projects and requests as and when they come up. 
• Completing the weekly and monthly payroll  
• To work alongside the external Accountants and provide  monthly management accounts  
  
• Overseeing procurement spend and setting targets for reduction of prices, stock,and stock rotation.
•  Overseeing year end stock take

• A minimum of 5 years accounting experience in a similar role
  
• Experience of SAGE accounting software
• Experience of running payroll is essential
• Proficient with MS Office - Excel and word is essential
• Good communicator
