This is an excellent opportunity to join a family run Engineering business in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. The company employs over 100 staff and are leaders in their Field. This role will be working alongside all senior manageement, supporting the business in achieving good finance practices.
Taking day-to-day responsibility for the up-keep of the accounts, in SAGE
Ensuring the day-to-day entries are recorded and entered correctly for both purchases and sales.
Working alongside the management team, to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as adhoc projects and requests as and when they come up.
Completing the weekly and monthly payroll
To work alongside the external Accountants and provide monthly management accounts
Overseeing procurement spend and setting targets for reduction of prices, stock,and stock rotation.
Overseeing year end stock take
A minimum of 5 years accounting experience in a similar role
Experience of SAGE accounting software
Experience of running payroll is essential
Proficient with MS Office - Excel and word is essential
Good communicator
Proactive and self motivated
