Our client is a proactive and growing small accountancy firm with offices in Liverpool. They are passionate about high quality service and helping their clients to get the best out of their businesses. The practice is looking for a part time accountant (3 days per week), they can be flexible with how the days/hours are worked. This role may increase to a full time role as the practice grows. There is good flexibility for this to be hybrid role with some working from home on offer. The right candidate will have previous practice experience and plenty of knowledge about completing company accounts and corporation tax etc.

This role will focus on delivering high quality year end accounts and tax returns on-time and on-budget to a client base that covers a wide range of companies and sole traders.

• Preparation of Limited Company Accounts
• Managing the statutory filing deadlines for a caseload of clients
  
• Corporation Tax computations and Returns
  
• VAT Returns
  
• Bookkeeping
  
• Assistance with client’s mortgage and finance applications
  
• Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships during busy periods
  
• Training and supporting junior members of the team when required
  

• AAT qualified
• Experience in an accountancy practice - minimum of 3 years required
• Show accuracy and attention to detail in their work
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Be able to manage time, work within budgets and meet deadlines, as guided by managers
• Knowledge of Taxcalc would be preferable
• Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
