Our client , a Civil Engineering firm based in Crawley is looking for a part time Accounts Assistant on a six month contract. Could go permanent for the right candidate.
10-15 hours a week , Monday -Thursday but with good flexibility on the days and hours to suit.

• Processing purchase ledger invoices
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Payment runs
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing reports on income, expenditure and sales reports
• Preparing payment schedules for invoices
• Chasing outstanding payments
• Allocating payments
• Sending customer statement
• Raising customer invoices
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries outside of accounts
• Experience of working in accounts is essential
• Ideally experience of Sage but training on systems will be given
• Ideally you will have experience of working in a small team and being able to deal with different job roles as and when they arise
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer skills
• You must be a car driver due to the location
