A business in the medical sector is looking for an experienced company accountant to join their team in Manchester. The role will be a diverse and exciting position for someone who is willing to take responsibility for all aspects of the finance function and build a solid team around them as the business grows. The Duties of Finance Manager / Company Accountant will be:

• To provide day-to-day financial support to the MD, operational teams and act as an interface between finance, operations and the sales team.
• Provide forecasts and management of credit terms with suppliers
• All framework and tender submissions both NHS and Private Hospitals
• Take a hand’s on role in monitoring and improving current processes and procedures
• Reporting and sales targets to the field based team.
• Invoicing and various projects with financial planning and guidance.
• Support preparation of financial statements at month and year-end.
• Control aged debt reports and responsible for all credit control
• Produce VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and supplier payment runs as well as any other financial tasks required related to credit and purchase ledgers.
