A successful manufacturing business, based in Burgess HIll , is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team of 4 and support the Financial Controller. Founded in 1995, this family run business has built a robust and experienced team of 35 staff and they have an annual turnover of £8 million.
This is a part time role , 25 hours a week , and can be worked remotely although the ideal candidate will live locally enough that the occassional trip into the office for meetings wont be an issue. This vacancy would suit either an experienced accounts assistant with lots of purchase ledger experience or a studier who is looking for a varied role to enhance their work experience
As part of a small finance team your role will consist of accounting tasks which in the main relate to the accounts payable function. You will be responsible for ensuring that the purchase ledger is maintained and up to date including approval, processing and payment of supplier invoices.
