Our client , a market leading manufacturing company with a 50 year history , are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a part time basis, 25 hours a week. There is good flexibility on how these hours are worked, either over less full days or shorter days spread across a full week etc.
Full responsibility for the Purchase Ledger
Matching purchase invoices to Purchase Orders, ensuring that purchase order has been correctly approved
Coding and data entry of purchase invoices onto purchase ledger
Preparation of payments to suppliers for authorisation
Raise and issue purchase orders
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assist with bank reconciliations
Qualified Bookkeeper is preferred ( AAT / ICB etc) – will consider QBE
Good accounting software knowledge and experience - Sage line 50 is essential
Experienced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products
Proactive and self-motivated with excellent system skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisation and time management to ensure deadlines are met
Able to work on your own as well as part of the team
