MA are delighted to be supporting our expanding and high-performing service sector client based in central London to recruit for a newly created and diverse role.

This position will be ideal for a hands on Group Financial Controller who want to work in a rapidly growing £13m SME business in Central London. Reporting to the CFO , this position will provide financial analysis, and insight to the senior team. This role requires someone with exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, highly analytical and with the drive to help provide the business with key insights and problem solving skills.

Candidates must have a can do attitude, always be proactive and looking for a challenge.

The role will allow for some hybrid working but with an expectation of being on site in London for approx. 3 days per week.

On offer is a salary of c.£90k + 10% bonus + another "investor event" bonus (accrues c.£2k per month)

The ideal candidate will have Private Equity experience

• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements
• Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
• Managing the preparation of the Board Pack
• Provide management with financial information vital to the decision-making process
• Create strategic plans for financial operations
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance
• Supervise accounting and finance departments
• Review and sign off payroll
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
• Assist with M&A due diligence and integration of acquisitions

• The ideal candidate will have Private Equity experience
• The role requires a qualified candidate and would be well suited to an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with experience of working in a growing SME environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial finance
• Experience with financial reporting requirements
• Demonstrates a balance of detailed, analytical skills with the ability to see the broad perspective
• Experience using various accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the firm
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
