This Bath based Accountancy practice situated south of the city centre, is looking for an experienced accountant to join the team on a full time or part time basis. They are a professional, experienced and friendly team of accountants serving clients throughout London and the South. Established 34 years ago the business continues its growth of recent years, specialising in supporting owner managed businesses to manage their corporate and tax affairs, whilst assisting personal tax clients with compliance and planning to proactively manage their wealth, capital gains tax and inheritance tax issues.

The practice is based on Iris software, whilst a variety of accounting packages are supported, including Quickbooks, Xero and Sage.

The business is looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team and to manage a portfolio of clients; this is a client facing role (you will be main client contact)

Main responsibilities  to include:

• Production of financial statements
• Corporate and personal tax returns
• Giving tax advice & client advisory services
• Support and planning 

• You will be part/finalist/qualified ACA, ACCA or AAT or Qualified By Experience
• With at least 3 years’ experience within the accountancy practice sector.
• Knowledge of other areas such as IR35, CGT, IHT an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of being client facing
