Our client, manufacturing sector, based near Oxford, is looking for an ambitious Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join their team. The role will report to the Group CFO and has the potential for future promotion and growth. 

The business has been expanding rapidly, facilitating a need for this new role. 

The role will be full time and provide a mixture of hybrid working. On offer is a salary of approx £55k but this is negotiable for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly Management accounts and reporting
• Forecasts and budgetting
• Manage and upskill the accounts team
• Develop and improve existing financial systems and procedures
• Establish and improve overhead, manufacturing cost and product margin analysis
• Manage the payroll system
• Monitor credit control
• Ensure effective financial relationships are maintained with all customers and suppliers.

• Qualified, Part Qual or QBE. The right candidate is more important than qualification
• Solutions orientated, able to problem solve
  
• Minimum two years financial management experience in an SME company
• Strong accounting systems, ERP and Excel skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High numeracy and sound technical skills
• Problem-solving skills and initiative.
