6 month initial interim contract for a Finance Manager in Olney, Bucks. The company are a £60m turnover construction business. 

The role of Finance Manager is to work across all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial report, budget and forecasts and development of internal control policies and procedures accurately and in a timely manner to the Financial Controller and CFO.

On offer is a competitive rate (£300-350 per day) depending on experience and flexible / hybrid working. The role is initially for 6 months on an interim basis but could become permanent for the right candidate. 


  • Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
  • Assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Assist with the timely monthly financial statements to the FC and CFO
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Cash flow management
  • Report to the FC and CFO


  • 3+ years accounting and finance experience Construction company experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience of creating financial statements
  • Problem solving & leadership
