Finance Manager / Controller required for a growing business based in Wolverhampton. This is a #1 finance role reporting to the MD of the company

There are approx 25 employees in the business with a £3m turnover and growing. The role will have support of a Commerical Analyst in the team.

This is a newly created position and is on a permanent, full time basis. On offer is a competitive salary depending on experience

• Implementation of monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and variance analysis
• Implementation of new WIP system to replace outdated lengthy procedure
• Introduction of key metrics and business dashboard to aid accurate decision making
• Rolling cash flow forecasting and treasury management
• Extensive project accounting experience
• VAT, PAYE, P11d, CIS & R&D tax credits experience
• Management of company pension scheme
• Structured and financed MBO deal to take place, in collaboration with external advisers

• As the successful Financial Controller you will be / have:
• A fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA is desireable but QBE considered
• A good team player and leader
• Ambitious with an inquisitive mindset
• The ability to work closely with Senior Management and communicate at all levels
• Strong Excel skills
