Our client is a Waste Services SME based near to Rushden (Northamptonshire), looking for a new Finance & Office Manager to join their team.
This role will be to take on the day to day running of the finance of the business. The business is approx. £2.2m turnover (15 drivers / 4 office staff) and are a growing business with constant changes in the day to day work.
The role will report to the MD.
Running the office, overseeing one other member of staff who carries out the following duties, - admin duties, gaining purchase orders, wages, inputting purchase invoices
Daily running of the finance which will include the running of the Factoring account and one business bank account
Gaining quotes for finance for purchase of assets (vehicles/trailers)
Producing monthly management accounts
Liasing with accountants to produce final audited accounts
HMRC – payments and producing reports (PAYE and VAT)
Overseeing/Invoicing of weekly invoices
Credit control
Purchase ledger
Overseeing and being able to run the transport software
Insurance renewals
SAGE
Operating a factoring account
Accounts qualifications preferred
Office 365
Experience of running an SME as cash is not always readily available and being able to “juggle” payments at times is a must
