A Mechanical and Electrical engineering company are looking to recruit a FInance Assistant to join their team , based in their Docklands head office, London. They specialise in installations within luxury high rise buildings in London and the surrounding area.
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic individual who will be reliable and work well within a small and friendly team. Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills would be favourable.
Posting Sales and Purchase invoice into Amtech and Xero
Monthly and Year-end Accounts, including Year end Audit Prep
Credit Control
Supplier Statement Reconciliation
Timesheets ,Expenses and Credit Card reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports Accruals, prepayments
Asset register maintenance
VAT return.
Monitoring office supplies and ordering / purchasing supplies as required
Performing Bank Reconciliation
Intercompany re-charge invoicing and account reconciliations.
Minimum of five GCSEs (graded A-C), including English and Maths (or equivalent)
Degree/Certificate in AAT or Accounting/Finance (or equivalent)
Relevant Work Experience within finance/ bookkeeping
Strong Attention to Detail
Experience using Xero (preferable but not essential)
Purchase Ledger experience
Accurate and numerate
Good communication skills: written and oral
Good computer skills: MS Word and intermediate MS Excel
Ability to handle a high volume of data processing
