East London based Charity (approx £2.5m turnvoer) are looking for an Finance Director on an interim or permanent basis.

The Charity have a Finance manager and a Finance officer in place already. They want a fully qualified accountant and would want the FD to be in the office for one day a week.

The role can be done on a full time or a part time basis for the right candidate. 

• Annual budgeting, planning, forecasting, monitoring and reporting. This will be done on a yearly/quarterly/monthly basis as appropriate, but reports and forecasts may also be needed on an ad hoc basis to support funding proposals
• Day-to-day finance operations including management of bank accounts, cash-flow forecasting, invoice payment, etc.
• Grants-related finance, including set-up and utilisation of a new system to track multiple pots of funding and refinement and streamlining of the payment system for multi-year disbursements
• Oversight of reporting functions including board, management, and statutory reporting
• Audit preparation and management
