Luxury Products Competitive day rate or salary equivalent
Our client based near Hampton Court, Surrey is a £16m turnover business which supplies luxury home products.
They require in Interim Financial Controller to join until minimum April 2023. The role is a hybrid position with most staff doing 3 days in the office and 2 remotely at present.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the cash flow forecast and report variances
Ensuring month-end and year-end close process completed
Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings with banks
Ensuring timely payment of debts
Processing the payment run
Negotiating re-payment plans
Responding to relevant client enquiries
Processing and reconciliation of invoices
Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required
Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances
Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
SAGE 200 experience
Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and accountancy software
Ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others
Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role / suitability qualified
