We are looking for a Management Accountant to join an amazing and fun activity bar inspired by the Olympic sport of clay target shooting. You will:

• Be working closely with the Finance Director and external finance team you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate management accounts to help the leadership team with its decision making.
• Production of monthly management accounts and assisting with financial reporting
• Posting of month end accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries
• Managing accounts payable and receivable functions provided by external finance team
• Preparation and submission of tax reports including VAT returns
• Performing reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Maintenance of bank accounts and payment portals
• Managing integration and testing of data systems (e.g. EPOS)
• Assisting the FD with the annual budget, forecasts, and modelling
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis

• Skills and desired qualifications
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified
• Ideally minimum 3 years' experience in a similar finance role
• Ability to positively communicate with colleagues and external bodies in order to form and maintain good working relationship
• Proactive and independent thinker
• Previous experience with Xero is desirable
