Financial Controller for a logistics company based in SE London.

As Finance Controller your primary responsibility will be to provide clear financial expertise, guidance and controls that drive effective business performance.

On offer is a salary of £65,000 per annum.

Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for complete and accurate posting and reporting for all accounting entries, including financial accounting, co-ordination of end-of-month processes and production of management accounts, budgeting, payroll, cash flow management and dealing with external contacts such as banks, HMRC, audit and tax.

You will improve financial controls, implementing financial automation, improving processes, creating financial policies, developing best practices, as well as ensuring all financial commitments are met. Where required, you will also work with the FD on strategic financial planning for future business expansion, providing competitive and marketplace analysis, developing financial model options and data analytics.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant preferred
• A hands-on financial controller happy to be involved in day-to-day accounting
• From a growing successful company background
• Possessing high levels of communication skills and aptitude for dealing with staff diplomatically on all levels
• A self –motivated individual, possessing good common sense and judgement
• An adept administrator with sound organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Possessing strong computer literacy include Sage software and Microsoft office, particularly Excel
• Either experienced in a similar role or with potential to progress.
