The Opportunity. Our client are looking for a qualified accountant to join its expanding team of tax and legal experts and assist in the establishment and development of its accountancy offering as Head of Accountancy Services

We provide award-winning experienced tax advisers, legal experts and wealth professionals to the contracting industry. With our extensive knowledge and expertise, we offer advice to all parties in the labour supply chain - contractors, end clients and agencies alike. To compliment our tax and legal services, we are now building a team to offer a full accountancy service to our clients.

Salary: Market rate based on qualifications and experience. Share Option arrangements are available based on criteria.

Heading up our accountancy service, the successful candidate will provide a full service to our wide range of clients, including, but not limited to:

• Client consultation and management
• Financial accounting & accounts preparation for statutory purposes
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Payroll & PAYE returns
• Company secretarial services

Team management and Business Development to grow the offering will also be essential for the successful candidate.

You will need:

• A recognised accounting qualification
• A practicing certificate (or the ability to obtain one)
• At least 3 years financial accounting experience in practice or industry
• A proactive approach to managing your own time and workload
• Managerial experience
• An aptitude or interest in growing an organisation and operating within a start-up culture.
