We are seeking a highly capable management accountant to join our finance team. You will be performing financial analysis (monthly management accounts, operational project cost control), preparing financial forecasts, maintaining company cashflow and advising senior management on financial strategic planning.

To ensure success in this role, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting and experience in a similar environment.

Ideally 1st Febauary for start date but can be flexible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Generating monthly management accounts
• Overseeing operational/project cost control
• Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure (company cashflow)
• Overseeing accounting procedures and supervising financial department staff
• Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards
• Performing financial recordkeeping, as well as protecting sensitive and confidential information
• Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in management accounting

• ACCA qualification or verified equivalent is essential
• A minimum of two years' experience as a management accountant in a related business
• Proficiency in business management and accounting software – SAGE Intacct
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
