This established Accountancy Practice is looking for a new Account Manager to join their team.The business provides bookkeeping, payroll, accountancy and outsourced financial director services to SMEs. The company started in 2004 and over the last 18 years has grown to a turnover of around £1m and employs 15 people. Their office is based near Paddington. The firms clients are mostly based in London and have turnover from around £100k - £7m. The clients include tech start-ups, PR companies, recruitment businesses and Charities.
This is a very informal firm with a casual dress code (no suits) and the firm has a flat hierarchy. Key to their success has been the dedication to their clients and teaching business owners to get the most out of their financial information.
They are looking for an account manager to join a 7-person account manager team. Working under the supervision of the managing director, the account manager will spend their time bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, making payments and running payroll for clients and talking to clients every day.
All staff are great communicators, who are comfortable sending emails, speaking on the phone or meeting clients in person. Specifically, we are looking for account managers who can communicate in plain English to clients without using accounting jargon.
