Our client is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join their Finance department on a contract basis (could turn permanent for right candidate). This will be initially on a 3-6 month interim assignment.

Tasks and Responsibilities include:
Delivery of monthly management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, and calculation of accurate accruals and prepayments
Assist with the preparation of company-wide budgets and forecasts
Provide support to the commercial team with new pricing models and analysis of existing contracts
Production of operational performance reports
Deliver insightful analysis on business trends and profitability
Monthly payroll approval and production of annual P11D’s
Drive process and system improvement to increase efficiency
Maintenance and management of financial controls and data integrity
Provide guidance and support to accounts receivable and payable
Other ad hoc duties to assist the wider business
Work Experience
Previous experience in automotive or logistics sector. Desirable
More than 3 year’s experience of working within a finance team Essential
Qualifications/Skills
Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Candidates studying for their final exams will be considered.
Proven track record in financial data analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High standard of PC literacy, especially excel skills including. Modelling, look ups and pivot tables.
Commercial Acumen
Excellent Planning, organisation and problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of role, with a get it right first time ability.
