This established business, based in Matlock, is looking for a FC to manage their accounts team. Reporting to the MD the Financial Controller will oversee the whole finance function and provide reporting to the senior management team. This role will be a key contributor to business-wide management decisions and development of opportunities

Full responsibility for the finance function including

• oversee Purchase ledger
• Overseee Sales ledger
• Oversee Payroll
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Provide management accounts reports
  
• Budgetting and forecasting
• Month end and Year end completion
• Implement updates and improvements to the accounting systems.
• Management and development of the finance team
• Administration and other duties relevant to the role

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT accountant is essential
• At least 5 years experience in accounting
• Previous experience of managing staff
• Accounts software experiewnce and MS office experience
• Budgetting and forecasting experience
• Able to work to deadlines
• Some HR experience would be an advantage
