Our client is a long established Manufacturer & Trader based in East London. They are looking for a Contract Accountant to assist them with a reconciliation project and audit.

Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for reconciling the balance sheet, assisting with year end and preparation for annual audit. Experience of SAGE 200 would be required.

The role will be based on site in Beckton, East London.

• Reconcile the general ledger
• Prepare control account schedules
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Provide working papers for the auditors
• Prepare the year end for the audit

• Qualified Accountant ( AAT,ACCA,CIMA,ACA)
• Ideally with a metals / hedging background
• Should possess a minimum of 3 years practical experience
• Exposure to reconciliation / audit assignments desirable
• Exceptional level of personal organisation, and a proven ability to manage own time and deadline.
• Exceptional technical competence and experience
• Demonstrate strong analytical and logical skills
• Ability to work well within a highly professional team environment.
• Robust IT skills
