Our client are a growing Management Consultancy business based in London (approx 40 employees). They were set up in 2020 and have seen strong growth across multiple regions.

They are looking for an experienced part-time Finance Director to assist the CEO in their next stage of growth. It is envisaged that this will be for approx 2 days per week but with some flexibility as the role develops.

The goal is to guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Assist the CEO in setting up the future Finance team
• Provide strong financial advice to the executive team to meet financial and statutory requirements
• Manage the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process
• Lead on the preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements
• Monitor external contracts to ensure value for money
  
• Assessing and implementing cost effective changes to financial systems
• Advising the Board on key business decisions including property & assets
• Arranging finance
• Work with advisors to ensure most tax efficient tax structures
• Building relationships with key stakeholders
  
• Advising on business critical decisions and contract negotiations

• Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
  
• Working in a similar business will be beneficial
• Experience of working in growth SMEs
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  
• Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and financial management software
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
