Scope
To assume full responsibility for the sales and marketing teams. To drive growth, through building on the existing client base and increasing penetration across sectors. To work with the senior management team to ensure client contracts are commercially sound and maximise profitability for the business.
This is a full time role. It will involve hybrid working (some time in the office would be expected as part of the process of building a team spirit within the organisation and mentoring staff). It is anticipated that the candidate would spend a significant amount of time meeting with clients and so some travel within the UK would be required. The candidate would also be expected to drive the goal of increasing the geographical spread of the client base.
Experience
The individual will have worked at board level for at least 10 years with major companies ideally in the Construction, Building or Engineering sectors. They will have a solid network and a high level of credibility within the sector. Ideally the candidate will have experience of business transformation, as they will be required to drive top and bottom line growth through increasing market share.
Although not essential (as in-house expertise could be drawn on) the candidate would have a good understanding of the workings of the supply chain within the sectors.
