Tech Scale-Up | Recurring Revenue Model | Career Path to Financial Controller

As we scale, we're looking for a Finance Manager to support our expanding finance function. This is a fully remote UK-based role reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the CEO. The position is ideal for a part-qualified or newly qualified finance professional (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with ambitions to step into a Financial Controller role within the next 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet reports.
• Forecasting & Modelling: Support financial forecasting and data modelling across business functions.
• Month-End Close: Manage accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Performance Analysis: Deliver KPI reporting for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices, monitor payments, and manage debtor follow-ups.
• Sales Pipeline Accuracy: Validate revenue pipeline data in collaboration with the sales team.
• Budgeting: Analyse budget vs actuals and provide variance insights.
• Process Improvement: Identify financial and operational efficiencies.
• Stakeholder Support: Produce reports and insights for senior leadership and board packs.
• Compliance: Assist with year-end and tax-related activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience in a fast-paced, B2B tech or scale-up environment
• Solid knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS
• Proficiency across both financial and management accounting
• Ambition to grow into a Financial Controller role
