Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic plan for the SME Accounting Practice, aligning with the organisation's overall goals and objectives.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of exceptional tax, audit, accounting, advisory, and corporate finance services.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including crafting proposals, participating in client presentations, and negotiating engagements.
Project Oversight: Oversee the delivery of projects across tax, audit, accounting, advisory, and corporate finance, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analyses, including preparing financial statements, audits, tax planning, and compliance services.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
Innovation: Drive innovation within the practice, exploring new methodologies, technologies, and approaches to enhance service delivery across all areas of expertise.
ACA/ ACCA qualified accountant
Proven background in practice, with comprehensive expertise in accounts, audit, and tax.
Significant experience in senior-level team leadership.
Strong technical knowledge with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional skills in communication and client advisory.
The ability to offer forward-thinking and confident guidance to clients.
A strategic, innovative, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
Skilled in building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
A commercially focused mindset with the ability to network and expand the firm’s service offering
