About the Business

A fast-growing fintech business with an 18-person team is seeking light-touch senior finance support. Day-to-day finance is currently overseen by an experienced former Finance Director from a major bank, supported by an external bookkeeping team for journals, payroll, management accounts and audit coordination.

The Opportunity

This is a very part-time engagement designed to provide clarity, structure and forward looking insight around financial performance. It will suit someone with a portfolio of clients who has spare capacity of around half a day each month.

You will partner directly with the leadership team on:

• FP&A oversight across 2026
• Tracking actuals against plan
• Supporting Board reporting, including messaging and 1 or 2 key slides each cycle
• Light advisory input when needed
• There is also the potential for a larger project later in the year to update and improve the forecasting and budgeting model.

Experience Required

• Strong FP&A background, ideally gained in fintech
• Experience in payments and e-money firms is preferred
• Confident preparing Board level analysis and narrative
• Comfortable operating in a very lean engagement with minimal time requirement
• Ability to scale support up temporarily should the forecasting project proceed later in the year
